Favorite Animated Character - Eda Clawthorne

Eda Clawthorne - The Owl House

One of my favorite animated character's is from one of my favorite animated shows, The Owl House. While I have multiple characters that I love from that show, I’d have to choose Eda Clawthorne the owl lady witch. I like Eda because she is very spunky and unconventional.  In the beginning of the series, she took a sort of a protective mother figure over the main character Luz.  She is very protective of her loved ones and has a rather unique view on how apprentices should act. She defies the order of things and is very different from her orderly sister. The way she moves is whimsical. She’s very eccentric and funny. She makes lots of facial expressions and always moves in arms in big gestures. An animation like The Owl House has characters that show their multiple emotions through these “wild” gestures. One thing that you’ll notice is her big eyes and smile. I think these also play a huge role in how she shows us her emotions. Her emotions mostly shift between irritation and happiness.
